Events
The most important means the Center has for meeting its mission is through outreach to the Creole people, researchers and scholars, and the general public. This has been obtained through various conferences, conventions, seminars and other dedicated meetings. The response to these planned events has been overwhelmingly positive and has served to meet the goal of increasing visibility of the Creole culture and its history. It has also served to document the many resources available, the growing number of interested individuals and to determine the most fruitful avenues for future research.
