Some of the documents available are: census, birth, death, marriage, military, bible, church, & genealogical records. Also available are funeral remembrances, newspaper articles, and obituaries.

Genealogy Database
As information on family history comes into the Resource Center, names are entered into a searchable genealogy database with the source information listed. This database consists of over 21,000 names and is updated daily. The database is available online at www.nsula.edu/creole for information on individuals born before 1920. The online database can also be updated and information can be submitted to the Resource Center from the website.
